Hemkund Sahib History
This scared Sikh shrine is situated on the shores of the Hemkund Lake at 4320mtrs from sea level. It marks the place where Guru Govind Singh, the tenth and last Guru, unified with God after prolonged meditation in his previous birth. The guru's autobiography which contains a description of the place helped two devout Sikhs, Sant Sohan Singh and Havldar Mohan singh to rediscover it. According to Hindu mythology, Hemkund or Lokpal as it is also known is where Lakshman had done his enhance. Hemkund is a 15km trek from Govindghat, which is the gateway to the Bhyundar or Lakshman Ganga valley. Govindghat is one of the bus routes to Badrinath. The trek from here to Hemkund takes one through forests of pine and rhododendron where wild roses, ferns and alpine flowers bloom. The surging waters of the Lakshman Ganga are also visible. The last 5km of the trek entails a steep climb from Ghangharia, which is a base for visiting Hemkund. Bits of ice still float on the waters between July and October, the best season to visit Hemkund. The rock strewn shores of the lake are covered with moss and flowers in bloom.

Day 01: Home to Delhi
Meet our representative at Delhi Railway Station / Airport. Transfer and check in to hotel at arrival in Delhi. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing Tour
Morning after breakfast, enjoy full day sightseeing of Delhi. Morning visit Red Fort and Chandni Chawk. Later drive through Rashtrapati Bhawan and India Gate. After lunch Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar, Akshardham Temple. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Delhi to Haridwar (225 kms/ 06 to 07 hrs drive)
Early morning after breakfast, and transfer to Haridwar. Haridwar is the one of the most famous place where people from all over the India visit for spirituality and to take a holy dip into the holy river Ganga. Haridwar is an ancient city and it is one of the most holy cities in India. Haridwar is also one of the four places where Kumbh Mela is organized. After little rest visit Har Ki Pouri (Ganga Ghat) for famous Ganga Aarti. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Haridwar to Joshimath
Morning after breakfast, drive towards Joshimath 260km / 8-9 Hrs Drive. On arrival Check In Your Hotel. Overnight at Joshimath.

Day 05: Joshimath to Govind Ghat to Ghaghariya
Morning after breakfast drive for Govind ghat 25km/ 1-2Hrs. After arrival at Govind Ghat 14 Km Trek for Ghaghariya. Overnight at ghaghariya in hotel.

Day 06: Ghaghariya to Hemkund Sahib to Ghaghariya
Morning after breakfast trek start for Hemkund Sahib. 08 km trek form both way. Later trek down for Ghaghariya. Overnight at Ghaghariya in hotel.

Day 07: Ghaghariya to Govind Ghat to Joshimath (25 kms Drive and 14 km trek)
Early morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and trek to Govind Ghat. After arrival at Goving ghat Meet your drive and drive for Joshimath. Check in to the hotel at arrival in Joshimath. Overnight stay at Joshimath in hotel. Day 08: Joshimath To Rishikesh Morning after relax breakfast, drive for Rishikesh. After arrival at Rishikesh check in your hotel and evening visit Rishikesh local with evening Ganga aarti. Overnight stay at the hotel in Rishikesh.

Day 09: Rishikesh
Early morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Rishikesh. Check in to the hotel at arrival in Rishikesh. Later enjoy sightseeing of Rishikesh. Rishikesh is one of the holy cities in India. Rishikesh is located in the foothills of the Himalayas. Rishikesh is gateway to the Himalayas. The spectacular River Ganga is like pert of the city. Rishikesh is a place visited by several yogis and sages. They lived and practiced hard penance here. Rishikesh is world famous as Yoga capital of the world. Day 10: Rishikesh to Delhi (230 kms/ 06 to 07 hrs drive)
